"I bought my first Harley at Port Charlotte HD in November 2007. It was definitely a great experience, and Joe in sales was phenomenal. Fast-forward to present day-I've had my bike serviced a few times, and I am ALWAYS impressed by the care that Dave and crew take with my bike. I always get the feeling that they REALLY care, like they're taking care of their brother's bike.
Also, I'm not what you would call a "mechanical" guy, and I've seen places where you're treated like a second-class citizen if you don't know all of the terminologies and nomenclature of Harleys. NOT HERE. Dave and crew will sit and talk with you on your level, and give you the love and respect of a fellow rider. Thank you!
On a side note, but very important as well, Dave really took care of my father who was visiting from out of town with his Iron Horse chopper. My father had some carb troubles, and Dave had us bring it in on the fly (even though they were backed up at least a week in service). They got us back up and running within a day, and kept us up to speed on everything that was going on, along with suggestions and advice. This was fantastic, especially considering that Iron Horse bikes are notoriously difficult to work on.

"All you folks have been great to me for 3 yrs now. I and my bikes are treated with respect, courtesy, friendliness, and speed in service. all the employees have helped make my experiences there enjoyable. I have only come across one issue currently. I purchased a new 2009 Roadking and while the bike is great the leather saddlebags are constructed very poorly. the adhesive actually comes off the underside of the lids and has to be cleaned off the sides of the bags constantly. Some of the leather was not glued to the plastic frame in places. one lid cover is taut, the other is wavy and loose. Currently it appears as I will have to deal with Harley Davidson customer directly myself to achieve satisfaction. I have purchased 3 bikes and spent many thousand dollars for accessories and believe the issue should be rectified. For 20,000.00 the saddlebags should look nicer. I would have purchased a regular FLHR had I known. while I wont't stop my patronage I don't feel treated fairly as a loyal customer. I have also referred many friends to you.
This is my follow up letter concerning saddlebags on my new RoadKing Classic. As I had submitted before the bags were not a good example of workmanship. Some places had too much adhesive and it was sticking the lids to the sides,some other places had no adhesive at all to hold leather to frame. I decided to request a new bag. Once again the folks at Black Widow came thru big time for me. They took photos of the faulty bag, sent them to Harley and in a week I had a new bag. Both Black Widow and HD are to bee commended for their service.
As I stated before I have never been treated with anything but respect and cooperation from these guys. From Eric in sales, Dave&John in service, Tom&Rick in parts, they have all been cooperative, friendly, speedy, and knowledgeable. I have dealt with a lot of HD people and none come close to these guys for service. Thanx again!!!!"

"I told Joe about my Bad experience with an HD dealer south of Black Widow and told him that they had made me so mad I threw everything I had with HD on it away and was ready to give up on my dream of owning a Harley. Joe showed me exactly what could be done to get me on a New FatBoy. He also brought Jaime over to meet me and explain how they could help me. Needless to say they both had me smiling before I rushed out the door to bring my trade back from home. Got back in time to get the deal done the same day. The Service Department evaluated my trade and gave me a great price. From that point on Jaime took care of getting me squared away on financing and explained everything I needed to know on the subject. Joe also took care of getting the windshield I wanted installed and had my bike ready to go when I was done. "Hey Big Armand It's simple! I was at a different dealership and it seemed as if it was filled with a high pressure sales staff who competed with each other. I refused to buy there. Then Black Widow came along. Upon first visit, I knew the experience would be different. The people here seemed... Well... Happy. And no matter the misconceptions, we as bikers are, for the most part, a jolly folk. No pressure sales. Just answers to my questions. Then, in the end, a seat for me to park my can upon. Great base purchase. We all know we are going to customize. That's what we do. I was out of town at Bike week. I decided I needed some of that customizing. At the last second I backed out. I remember how the staff treated me at Black Widow. So, I brought it home for my needs. Great decision on my part. Again, I am greeted by a wonderful staff that seems genuinely happy to be there. Stay on track brothers and sisters, and I'll always bring it home for more work. And John... We'll see how good the shop is when you get to my stage 2 kit. See ya next week for Stage 1."

"I bought my 07 Heritage from you in November 2011. I questioned the tire tread and your salesman said " you have plenty of life in them still" well 1400 miles later I had to spend $600.00 at my local HD dealer to get new tires. So much for trusting a salesman. I also bought several hundred dollars worth of apparel along with strapped eye protection which read " Scratch resistant" well guess what they got scratched, when I was back in town I tried to exchange them but no one would help me not even the owners daughter stating " That's not my department" wtf you own the place exchange them. I will never ever set foot in your dealership again, greed and screwing the buyer on every item sold is just plain wrong..... And I will let as many people know what a rip off Black widow is. Mario; I am truly sorry you feel this way however, did we really fail you? Your statement: "greed and screwing the buyer on every item sold" Let's see, you make no mention of the product for the several hundred dollars you spent nor the mention of the $50.00 added to your account for just shopping with us. Greed? Nor did you mention the $804.00 value of the FREE extended service plan we gave you with the purchase of the USED bike. More greed and screwing? As for the tires. Do you know there isn't a single tire manufacturer that backs up mileage on motorcycle tire? (check it out for yourself) Why? Everyone's riding habits are different resulting in a wide range of wear and tear. I looked at the trade in sheet and your motorcycle still had 50% thread left on the tires so maybe, someone else sold you tires prematurely or it's your riding style. I have softail customers that only get 3K-4K miles on a new rear skin (no burnouts)and 7K on the front. After riding the bike for 6 months, I fail to see how we failled you. As for the goggles: C'mon, you're kidding right? An inexpensive set of mirrored, tinted riding goggles that you wore and stored for 6 months and they got scratched? I went and checked them out myself. Global Vision goggles that sell for $20.00 yes, it does say scratch resistant (not proof). If I need to explain the meaning I get to thinking you won't understand. Notably Eric in parts, I come in from time to time (weekly it seems) to buy a new shiny baible for one of my bikes and eric has always dealt with me in a manner I can only describe as amazing. He even remembers my odd-ball police bike (FLHPI) and goes way beyond the call to find me what I want, even if it means sending me to a different vendor.
